Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who is highly-motivated, has a genuine interest in technology/healthcare, and a passion for delivering game-changing health tech products. This role is responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by a software team in order to deliver, enhance and maintain the features and functionality of the product.
Responsibilities
Take the lead of a product team
Provide direction to the engineering team and create requirements with the input of management and other stakeholders
Facilitate communication between the product team and engineering leadership and team members
Groom, plan and prioritize the product feature backlog
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Ensure that there are always tasks groomed and ready for team members to work on
Work closely with senior management to manage the the backlog
Develop detailed user stories
Lead product release planning set/manage expectation for delivery with stakeholders
Manage communication of new features and functionality to internal and external stakeholders
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
Leverage agile/scrum best practices and new trends
Leverage market research to inform product decisions
Your Skills & Capabilities
Previous working experience as a Product Owner
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
Certified Scrum Product Owner would be ideal
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented creative thinker
